Ocular Ultrasound

The results of an ocular ultrasound taken at the Animal Eye Specialty Clinic.

An ocular ultrasound is a non-painful and non-invasive way to visualize the structures both inside the eye as well as though in direct contact with the eye. It is most often used to determine whether a retinal detachment is present prior to cataract surgery but can also be used to diagnose diseases such as cancer, infection in and around the eye, etc.
